A few of my favorite things.

Things I’m really loving right now:

1.  The way Owen says, “Dada” all the time… even if I sounds more like “dadadadadadada”.

2.  The way they rock back and forth when they get excited about something.  Owen usually squeals, too.  The other day, Olivia pulled out the book Mr. Brown Can Moo and both boys looked at each other and started rocking as if to say, “Yes!  She picked one of our favorites!”

3.  Trying new foods.  Wiley and Owen love trying new foods.  They eat healthier than anyone I know.  Beets; no problem.  Lentils; of course.  Chicken; for sure.  Carrots, broccoli, squash, spinach, pears, apples, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, kale; YUM!

4.  Two adorable smiles every time I walk into the room.

5.  Wiley loves playing by himself.  He’s perfectly content to sit in a corner by himself and play with a toy.  Owen loves to be the center of attention.

6.  Both boys have started raising their arms when they want to be picked up.  It’s adorable.  Olivia has also starting teaching them sign language:  More, Please, All Done and a few others.  They haven’t started signing yet, but we’re hopeful that they will soon.

7.  Baby kisses.  Both boys have started leaning in for kisses.  Owen’s kiss is more of a head-butt.  Wiley is more gentle and touches your cheek as he leans in with his open mouth.

Liv took the boys to Orlando to visit her family for a few days. The boys of course loved it. Wiley apparently gave Papa Dave (Olivia's dad, pictured) about 50 kisses when they got in.

Wiley fell asleep on Aunt Micki at our most recent family gathering. It was precious.
