We thoroughly enjoyed a splendid holiday season with family and friends, and are slowly getting back into the normal swing of things. On Monday, as I was taking the ornaments off the tree, both boys sat at my feet wanting to touch and say good-bye to each one before I packed them back up. They’re so sentimental! They really have enjoyed crawling over to the tree each morning, holding their hands out to the branches, and chanting “ta, ta” (touch, in baby language). The tree may be currently bare of ornaments, but it still glows from the lights, and none of us are quite ready for it to permantantly leave our living room!
Here they are greeting their Christmas tree for the very first time . . .

Wiley, our cautious learner, took some time studying the pine needles and branches before deciding whether or not he should commit to the act of feeling it’s branches 🙂

However, our fearless Owen was ready to embark on this new adventure of having a living tree inside his home 🙂
We spent Christmas with Dan’s extended family up in Tennessee. The boys traveled beautifully and loved all the attention and love from everyone!
Life is full and sweet!
